To celebrate the opening of the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital Children’s Hospital, a fun and clever digital series was conceived to engage and inform a new audience. The Aktion News Team was created for a number of promotional spots that mimicked a real news broadcast, hosted by children. We created a full graphics package and branding for their light hearted promos and set designs. They wanted to mimic a real news broadcast with a graphical language that read they were serious despite being a fake newscast ran by kids. This included a package of show opens, lower thirds, washes, wipes, bugs, bump ins and out, weather map, specialty graphics, etc.
